TikTok to MP3
Keep just the sound: the song, the voiceover or the talk, saved as an MP3.
Just the sound, without the video
Sometimes the video isn't the point. You heard a song in the background and want it on your playlist, you need a trending sound for your own edit, or someone explained something so well that you want to listen to it again on a walk. Downloading the whole video for that wastes space, so this tool saves only the audio as an MP3 file.
Paste the link to the TikTok that has the sound you want, and DropTik pulls the audio track out of it. MP3 plays on every phone, computer, car stereo and smart speaker, and you can drop it straight into video editors like CapCut, iMovie or Premiere.
Keep in mind that a lot of TikTok sounds are commercial songs. Saving one so you can listen to it yourself is very different from uploading it somewhere else; if you want to use a song in your own content, use the platform's licensed music library or get permission. If you want the full video as well, use the main TikTok downloader instead.

What the MP3 tool does
- Audio only: You get a small MP3 file instead of a full video, which saves space on your phone.
- Original audio from the post: The MP3 is taken from the sound TikTok plays on that video.
- Works with music, voiceovers and talks: Songs, dialogue, narration, podcast clips: if the video has sound, you can save it.
- Plays everywhere: MP3 works in every music player, car stereo and video editor.
- Want the video too?: Save the full clip without the watermark, HD when TikTok has it.
Finding the MP3 on your phone
On Android, open Files (or Files by Google) and go to Downloads. Most music apps won't show files from Downloads automatically, so if you want the track in your music library, move it into the Music folder or open it with your player. Our TikTok MP3 guide also shows how to trim the file or turn it into a ringtone.
On iPhone, the MP3 goes to the Files app, inside Downloads. You can play it right there, add it to iMovie or GarageBand, or share it to another app. The iPhone Music app doesn't import MP3 files directly from Files, so for that you'd need to sync through a computer.
On a computer, the MP3 is in your Downloads folder and its name starts with droptik.app.
Links opened inside Instagram or Messenger use that app's browser, which usually can't save files; open DropTik in Safari or Chrome instead.
Why can't I get the audio from some TikToks?
If TikTok has muted a video because of a copyright claim, there's no sound left to save, and the MP3 would be empty. You'll usually see a message in the TikTok app saying the sound isn't available. In that case, look for another video that uses the same sound and is still playing it. If you're on iPhone, the iPhone download guide explains where files go in the Files app.
Private videos and deleted videos can't be downloaded at all, and that includes their audio. If a public video still won't load, wait a moment and tap Try again.
