DMCA and copyright

DropTik respects the rights of creators and copyright owners. If you believe your content is being downloaded through DropTik in a way that infringes your rights, here's how to reach us.

How DropTik handles content

DropTik doesn't host, store or index videos. Files are fetched on request when a visitor submits a link to a public post. We do act on valid notices, which can include refusing to process the links you report.

What to send us

Email contact@droptik.app with the subject line Copyright notice and include:

  1. Your name and contact details, and whether you're the owner or acting for the owner.
  2. The exact link or links to the TikTok posts (or other posts) concerned.
  3. A description of the work you believe is being infringed.
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

We review every complete notice. When a notice is valid, we act on it, which can include refusing to process the listed links, and we reply to let you know. Incomplete notices can slow things down, so please include everything above.

The original post

Because the content itself lives on TikTok or another platform, you may also want to report it there. TikTok has its own copyright reporting process for removing content from the platform.
